“Take A Hike” Day Guided Hike
Get outside and take a hike! National Take A Hike Day was established on November 17, 1965, to celebrate and recognize nature here in the US. Head outside and enjoy your local trails, or join us here at LGNC for a guided hike. You’ll be invited to learn about the history and ecology of the Refuge while being out hiking through those exact areas!
The hike is 2.2 miles, starting off with a rocky incline, followed by smooth trails. The hike will begin on the LNE trail, and then use the Bobolink to connect down to the D&L trail to come back in one large loop. Total time will run 1.5-2 hours. Please make sure to wear comfortable and appropriate hiking gear, as well as to bring water.
Fee: LGNC members: FREE | Non-members: $5 per person
