Young Ecologists Summer Camp At Home!
June 23-26, 2020
LGNC has been running its popular Young Ecologists Summer Camp for 23 consecutive years. This year, we will be providing campers in grades 5-7 with camp kits! As always, the camp will provide an exciting overview of ecology!
Camp kits will include…
- A list of daily camp activities that campers can enjoy on their own or with their families from home
- Educational materials, such as binoculars, identification guides, specimens, and much more, that campers will keep to continue their discoveries!
Each day, campers will…
- Investigate birds, plants, insects, and other living and nonliving things through interactive outdoor and indoor activities
- Maintain a nature journal
- Share their discoveries with Nature Center staff and other campers through an end-of-day virtual gathering!
