“Running in Place: Why Race Matters in Outdoor Recreation Spaces” — Andrea Armstrong, Ph.D.
In this talk, we will explore why people of color participate in outdoor recreation activities less often than white people. We will also consider recent research on why people of color feel less welcome on recreation trails in the Lehigh Valley.
Dr. Armstrong is an Assistant Professor of Environmental Science & Studies at Lafayette College.
