Description: A medium-sized bird with a massive bill.  Males are black above and white below, with a bright pink “bib”.  Females are brown and striped.

Where to look: In eastern Pennsylvania, these beautiful birds can be found in many woodlands and woodland edges.  They will also occasionally visit feeders.

Sound: Beautiful whistled phrases.  Also a nasal ink.
