Red-eyed Vireo sound

Description: A fairly small, olive bird of the treetops.  Red-eyed Vireos are rather plain birds, except for a dark line through the eye and a dark cap.  A close look reveals a bright red eye.

Where to look: Red-eyed Vireos are common birds of the treetops. They can be found in almost any wooded area.

Sound: Short, repeated phrases: Here I am; up here; in the tree; vireo.
