Eastern Towhee
Description: A medium-sized bird with a black back and wings and rufous (reddish) sides.
Where to look: The Eastern Towhee is a common bird of brushy habitats.
Note: This species is often found foraging close to the ground; however, when singing, the males often perch at the top of an open tree or shrub.
