Volunteer

Join our lively crew of volunteers! Many hands make light work.

Information Specialists

Our Info Specialists represent us to the public and quite literally enable us to keep the doors open, so this is an important position. We need friendly, enthusiastic volunteers – people who like to interact or initiate conversation – to staff the front desk for short shifts (9-12:30 and 12:30-4:00) every day of the week. Please contact us if you’d like to sign up for this job (either regularly or sporadically). Training will be provided prior to your first shift. Contact Volunteer Info Specialist Coordinator Jane Borbe at janeborbe@aol.com for more information.

Garden Volunteers

Do you have a passion for gardening? Would you like to learn more about native plants and engage with our easygoing knowledgable garden crew? If this sounds good, then volunteering in our native plant gardens may be for you! Get involved with our seasonal garden clean up efforts (3-4 times/year – see calendar below) or volunteer to help lead guided tours of the gardens. Contact volunteer garden coordinator Kathy Romano at kromano051@gmail.com for more information.
