Celebrating the Kittantinny Ridge and regional heritage at Lehigh Gap during the autumn migration of raptors. The Kittatinny Ridge, locally known as the Blue Mountain, is an iconic feature of the Lehigh Valley and surrounding region. It runs for more than 200 miles from northern New Jersey through central Pennsylvania, ending near the Maryland state line. Raptors —the eagles, hawks, falcons and others known as “birds of prey”— have long used the Kittatinny annually as a migration corridor, both in the fall and spring. Butterflies too, such as the monarch, use the Ridge as a migration route. Birds and butterflies use the Ridge to guide them along their migratory journeys, some of which can last thousands of miles.Join us as we celebrate the regional heritage of the mountain with nature programs, local history displays, music, food and crafts. We will host regional craftspeople selling handmade items, with some offering live demonstrations of their creative processes.
We will not duplicate craft or food booths.
All vendor applications will be reviewed to ensure your product or service is the right fit for the event’s theme.
