At Moravian College Thursday, April 13 – Drew Lanham, Ph.D.

Dr. Drew Lanham, Clemson University, Wildlife Ecology Professor, is a black man in a profession (wildlife biology) and avocation (birding) where being black makes you stand out like an Ivorybilled Woodpecker. He is author of “The Home Place:  Memoirs of a Colored Man’s Love Affair with Nature.” His talk will focus on how we can be more inclusive in the world of conservation, wildlife biology, and birding. This is a joint program of Moravian College and LGNC.

The talk will be in Dana Hall – on the first floor of Collier Hall of Science (Building #10 on this map: https://www.moravian.edu/about/campus/main-street/2 )
