Interested in gardening for wildlife? Get inspired and informed with practical tips on the best horticultural and ecologically-minded practices – whether you have existing gardens or are looking to create new ones. All registrants will receive a copy of LGNC’s new gardening book, Native Plants for the Small Yard!
Topics will include: increasing wildlife value of your landscape, gardening practices and procedures, weed and invasive management, basic garden planning and designing.
Registration: This series of two seminars will meet at the Nature Center on Tuesday, January 29 and Friday, February 22 from 10:00 a.m. to noon. Registration fee covers both seminars and a book: $10 for members, $15 for non-members. Registration limited to 25 participants.

About the Presenter: A self-proclaimed ‘tree-hugger’, Liz Stauffer is Landscape Services Supervisor at Edge of the Woods Native Plant Nursery. She has 13 years of experience in the horticultural and agricultural fields, a B.S. in Environmental Science from Drexel University, and is an alumni from Longwood Garden’s Professional Gardener Training Program.
