Meredith Wright, a Environmental Studies/Policy and Economics Track major at Moravian College, attended the Undergraduate Research Poster Conference at the Capitol in Harrisburg on October 20 to present a poster entitled, “Annotated Bibliography Of The Palmerton Zinc Superfund Site And The Lehigh Gap In Pennsylvania”.   The work was carried out the past summer under the direction of Diane Husic, Professor of Biological Sciences at Moravian College and a member of the Board of Directors at LGNC, and LGNC Executive Director Dan Kunkle, and was supported by a DCNR Wild Resources Grant and the Moravian College SOAR program.

Welcome to the new Lehigh Gap Nature Center website. The site was launched August 11, after working over the summer with web designer B. J. Novack of Done in Style to develop a site that we hope will well serve LGNC members and other visitors. It is our plan to continue to add new features and information in the coming months, and we encourage you to contact us with comments and suggestions as to what you would like to see included.
